![]() ![]() Upon further inspection, we found the entire roof had not been installed to code. Now the roof gets installed, for the average homeowner, the roof would look normal. As work continued, things appeared to be going smoothly. Being in the construction industry myself, it was clear that this was not correct. For example, there was a major crack in a supporting beam that was looked over and told to me that it passed inspection and was ok. Once the initial build commenced, we found a variety of construction errors and corners cut. When I had the grass delivered, Synergy’s promise changed and they would not install my supplied grass, which in turn cost me twice as much now to have someone else come and install it. This was not an issue if I were to pay for it, and have the grass delivered. ![]() We initially discussed changing out the original Bahia grass with Saint Augustine grass that I supplied. I understand that she does not make the decisions but her job was to make me feel comfortable and to be as helpful as possible. This was a very big deal to me since it was my first time purchasing a home. We felt rushed and as if we were a bother. When I asked for help with these selections, the response I received was “It’s not my job to pick things out for you, that’s your decision that needs to be made” and was left alone in the room again. I had set an appointment to do this, yet another customer was in the show room at the same time receiving all the attention as opposed to me, a signed customer. Upon my initial visit to the Port Saint Lucie model home, where I pick my accessories, Myra made it very difficult and was not interested in helping us with our selections. From the very beginning, to say the least, the experience was not pleasant or positive. I built a home through Synergy Homes starting back in October of 2021 when I signed my initial contract. I am writing this review to give my honest experience and feedback on Synergy Homes. I am currently only 3 months outside the warranty and the issue became severe 2 months outside the warranty period. ![]() The icing on the cake is that the person I was emailing was committed to telling me I am "far" outside the warranty period which is plainly not true. These homes are built ridiculously fast and it's apparent that they care more about making money than actually committing to their values of quality workmanship. I don't understand how I'm supposed to diagnose the issue myself to be able to determine the correct course of action. They strictly adhere to the warranty time lines and absolutely do not care about trying to understand issues that are plainly their fault. After multiple emails with the warranty side of Synergy, it became apparent that they do not care that they caused the issue and even doubt the issue was from their poor workmanship. How a blade got stuck in my drain is pretty obviously an issue not caused by my negligence. After 3 separate visits, the company had found a ***** blade stuck in my 3" main drain line. Out of desperation I called a company to come clear the drains. My girlfriend and daughter had to use water throughout the day and I couldn't sleep or stand by with water backing up daily. I was working nights at the time and felt rushed to fix the issue. Water had kept backing up and this occurred two months outside the 2 year distribution systems warranty offered by **** Homebuyers. I had cleared the drains to my knowledge up until the slow draining became a daily issue. The issue would subside for some time and came back on a few occasions. I was able to use caustic drain cleaner and a plunger to remedy this. ![]() However, an issue occurred with my drains within the first few months of moving in. Small warranty issues were easily addressed in the beginning. I am a first time home buyer and the experience of buying the home was easy and painless. ![]()
